Transportation Engineering covers wide range of areas like road safety, land use planning, sustainable transport, planning and design of transportation facilities and traffic engineering to mention a few. All of this will require a strong understanding of planning, evaluating, designing, constructing and maintaining transport infrastructure. Upon the completion of this program, students can take up careers in various fields such as:

The curriculum is designed in a balanced manner to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure.

Students engage in field projects, research assignments, field visits, and internships, offering a glimpse into the real world.

These experiential techniques are credited to actively involve students.

Additionally, based on the stake holders feedback curriculum is regularly developed, updated, and implemented with a primary focus on enhancing the employability, entrepreneurship, and skill development of learners.

Nearly all courses across programs aim to cultivate these qualities in students.

In addition to that we also offers several certificate and short term courses for value addition in the capabilities of learners.

Based on the feedback our teachers designs the value added courses to meet out the gaps or to provide additional knowledge to seekers.

We also encourage students to take SWAYAM and NPTEL courses of their interest.

Duration of Course

The total duration of the course is two years.
