The Masters in Social Work is a two-year postgraduate degree program which offers students with specializations in the various fields of the study. The program is research oriented allowing students to explore new avenues and social dynamics. Gokul Global University offers this masters degree in Social Work which is designed to equip students with the relevant skills and necessary abilities which allows them to be effective personnel with an apt understanding of the society and the elements of humanity. The program is designed to develop within the students an understanding of the various social institutions which make up the core of various societies, states and countries. The program goes on to exclusively expose students to the various social problems which affect the livelihood and the welfare of the people on various levels and to prescribe relevant solutions to these problems. The Faculty of Social Work has strategically designed its curriculum to develop within the students a practical hands on training which allows them to effectively navigate the field works in various social and cultural landscapes. The program allows students to gain exposure and expertise in areas of specialization such as human resource management, family and child welfare, urban and rural community development amongst others. The students go on to receive guidance from various social work experts who go on to nurture their understanding of the society and shape their perspective in regards to humanity. Beyond the scope of social work, the program goes on to develop within the students various interpersonal skills and soft skills which play a vital role in the preparation of their future careers in social work.

The curriculum is designed in a balanced manner to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure.

Students engage in field projects, research assignments, field visits, and internships, offering a glimpse into the real world.

These experiential techniques are credited to actively involve students.

Additionally, based on the stake holders feedback curriculum is regularly developed, updated, and implemented with a primary focus on enhancing the employability, entrepreneurship, and skill development of learners.

Nearly all courses across programs aim to cultivate these qualities in students.

In addition to that we also offers several certificate and short term courses for value addition in the capabilities of learners.

Based on the feedback our teachers designs the value added courses to meet out the gaps or to provide additional knowledge to seekers.

We also encourage students to take SWAYAM and NPTEL courses of their interest.
