The Master of Microbiology is a research-based program which focuses on the training and shaping of students on a more specialized level. Microbiology is an interdisciplinary science it covers other branches such as chemistry, genetics, botany, zoology, medicine, nutrition, etc. it plays an essential role in the farming sector, diagnosis of certain diseases and ecology, which provides a pool of career opportunities upon graduation. With all this influence of microbiology over such diverse sectors, this discipline has given birth to a wide range of career prospects
