Event Description


Three days Faculty Development Program (FDP) (13th to 15th July 2021) on “Recent trends in mechanical engineering” Organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering. The Objective of conducting this faculty development program (FDP) on “Recent trends in mechanical engineering” aims at providing an opportunity to exchange the knowledge among faculty, research scholars and industry. It imparts the knowledge in the areas of mechanical engineering and surrounding development. It’s a unique program designed with industry experts and academicians. The program includes key note lectures by eminent industry experts/academicians, at the end of the program the participants are expected to understand “Recent trends in mechanical engineering”. The online FDP conducted by GMEET and we got 208 students, faculty and research scholar secured their registration. The participants will be provided E-certificates on successful completion of the program. The objectives of the program are 1: Faculty Development Program as its primary objective with high priority to tackle 21st advancements in Engineering Education and Technologies 2: This FDP was made to make the transmission of knowledge from the faculty to students highly effective with all the tools associated with the same. 3: Faculty vitality is the main ingredient to enhance professional education and competence. Enriching the faculty vitality in key domains of teaching, assessing, research, professionalism, and administration is perceived to improve educational environment significantly and enhances the academic performance of learners. 4: To organize advanced level capacity enhancement and continuous knowledge up gradation training programs for people working in different capacities and roles 5: To conduct programs to build research, teaching and administration competence for holistic development of individuals.
